Who Can Submit?

The Journal of Peace Strategies and Research (JoPSaR) invites original, unpublished manuscripts from all researchers, academicians, authors, professionals, students and interested persons in the following categories:

Types of Submissions Accepted:

Research Paper

Research papers in this category, ranging from 2,500 to 5,000 words (excluding footnotes), should thoroughly investigate the concept and literature of a given subject. The paper should assess current practices, identify gaps, and offer an original re-evaluation along with practical recommendations. This category also encourages theoretical works.

Special Articles

Special articles in this category, ranging from 2,500 to 5,000 words (excluding footnotes), should concentrate on a specific topic like field visits, and analysis, and present fresh viewpoints and critical insights on the chosen subject with clear arguments and diverse ways of conceptualizing the issue.

Review

A book review in a research journal, also known as a scholarly review, is a critical analysis of a book that is written for and by scholars. The purpose of a book review is to inform other scholars about the book’s quality, argument, and purpose, and how it fits into the current literature. In this category, ranging from 500 to 1,000 words (excluding footnotes) are allowed to submit.

General Guidelines:

  • Research papers and special articles must be accompanied by an abstract.
  • Up to 3 authors are allowed for all categories.
  • All works must be original and unpublished, and must not be pending for review before any other journal. Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification for publication in JoPSaR.
  • The Authors will be solely responsible for any dispute arising out of the manuscript including copyright, defamation, objectionable content or contempt and agree to suffer the loss, if any, caused by violating copyright or any other rights.
  • While it is advisable to adhere to the word limits of each category (including graphs & charts), the journal may be flexible on the word limit depending on the quality of the article. All the tables, charts, graphs, and diagrams should be in black and not in colour.

 Format:

  • The first page of the manuscript should contain the name of the paper, the name of the authors and their institutional affiliation, if any, address of correspondence and email ID along with the abstract. 
  • The abstract should not be more than 200-250 words and it should adequately describe the work and highlight its significance. Avoid the use of abbreviations and references in the abstract. The abstract should be followed by relevant keywords.
  • The second page should commence with the main body of the manuscript.
  • The main body of the manuscript should be in Times New Roman style, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing and footnotes in Times New Roman style, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing and footnotes in Times New Roman Style, Size 10, with 1.0 line spacing.   • Texts and footnotes should conform to the Bluebook 19th or 20th Edition.
  • Submissions through Google Forms: JoPSaR accepts research papers/special articles/reviews through the Google form-only link provided on the home page. 
  • In case of any difficulty in submitting the manuscript, the authors can submit their manuscript via email to contact@researchpark.in or researchpark9@gmail.com with a declaration as follows. Declaration: “I/we declare that the manuscript is an original and previously unpublished work written by me/us. I/we would be solely responsible for any dispute arising out of my/our manuscript including copyright, defamation, objectionable content or contempt and agree to suffer the loss, if any, caused by violating copyright or any other rights.”
  • Upon submission, the manuscript shall be the property of JoPSaR. Henceforth, articles accepted for publication may be cross-published/republished. Such cross-publishing/republishing shall not require the prior consent of the author(s).
